Membership - Every parent, student, teacher/staff, grandparent and community member is encouraged to join the Johnson PTSA. The PTSA represents all students. More members help make every child's potential a reality and turns up the PTSA advocacy voice! Memberships are $7 for most and $4.25 for Texas PTA Honorary Life Members. Greenback is the PTSA's major fundraiser for the year. Your donation helps support Drug and Alcohol Awareness Education, Project Graduation, the Reflections art program, Red Ribbon Week, Senior PTSA Scholarships, Smart Driving Awareness, Staff Appreciation Events, Student Volunteer Recognition Awards, and more. Community sponsors donating $500 or more receive a Community Sponsor decal, social media shout outs and website logo placement. Sponsors who pay and email their business or family name, logo .jpg and website url to [email protected] by 10/04/24 are included on the 2024-25 JHS PTSA Community Sponsor banner to hang outside of Johnson campus for a portion of the school year.

All students are encouraged to join the JHS PTSA Smart Driving Club. This club promotes safe, smart driving skills for students and the community and gives students a chance to work with administrators, community members, TXDOT, law enforcement, and safety organizations to promote and empower others to make safe choices behind the wheel. To join this club, a student must be a PTSA member and purchase a club t-shirt. Meetings are offered at 8:15 am and 4:15 pm on meeting days. Please sign up for our Remind to get club information and meeting dates.
