PTSA Senior Events
Class of 2025 Senior Sunrise
Friday Morning August 16, 2024 at 6:40AM we will celebrate our Seniors watching the sunrise, spending time with classmates, and having some breakfast tacos.
The JHS PTSA launched two new traditions for our Johnson Class Senior Sunset & Sunset Signs.
Senior Sunset was held on the evening of the seniors last day of class from 7-8:30 pm. Student Council and PTSA created a carnival like atmosphere for the students to celebrate. The fun included a DJ, teacher dunking booth, tug of war, rock climbing wall, inflatable obstacle courses, carnival games and many door prizes. The event wrapped up with a picture of the senior class on the hill with the sunset in the background.

For Senior Signs, seniors let us know via a survey where they were going to school or what branch of the military they planned to enter. We will had yard signs made representing each of their future institutions.
- Sign Your Sign! Seniors were given the opportunity to sign your college/military branch sign with a thin Sharpie at the Senior Sunset event. If they missed the Senior Sunset signing opportunity, they could sign during the beginning of the senior breakfast. These signs will be used year after year, so we asked the students to to add their names in a small space so that we can accumulate many Jaguar alumni names over time on each sign.
- Take Pics with Your Sign! Signs were put on display in front of the marque on the morning of 6/6 so seniors saw the sea of signs a they drove up on their last day. After the seniors arrived, the signs were moved to the front lawn just outside the welcome center. Seniors had the opportunity to take pictures with their sign at the senior bbq following the senior slideshow. They took selfies, pics with their friends and their signs, etc and posted loud and proud #ctjclassof2019. Signs were taken down at the end of the school day.
